We meet again!!

Distance..Departure...farewell.. these words are so nostalgic..at the same time they also bring along..that brutal memory-filled smile on the face..the smile, that has umpteen shades of emotions in it..the pain of a beloved going away..the tears that speak about all the fun that you had together..the anger and helplessness of not being able to keep the dear, near.. the laugh-alone on the pranks played and played on..and that one assuring wink which promises to be together even when apart..never should anyone depart..but as they say..you depart, so that you meet again!! We meet again..Waiting..

Bridesmaid to Fb Page

Recently I heard..or rather read of, once a very close friend, getting married this wedding season and suddenly memories flashed by..

We once use to discuss about her marriage and mine too..use to make plans for shopping and other traditions..we use to giggle about the other aspects, which were at that age very amusing..and how she use to almost beg me to be the bride's maid..(for typical cultural marriage of our kind..I was to be that friend of bride who was there with her like shadow during the wedding days.. be it the daily affairs or the puja or parlour or during reception party.. )..

And today..thanks to the e-world :-/..i got the news of she getting married through her fb page..maybe I was expecting atleast a personal call or text..(uff..these expectations are gonna drown me one day..)but anyways, no complains, she is gettig married and I am happy for her..:-) just a bit awkward to see myself demoted from "Bridesmaid to just a facebook page"..may be I need to start investing in relashionships more than I do in my e-shionships!! May be then the e-world wont overshadow my actual world!!

PS : God bless her with a great new life ahead :-) Atleast this wish hasn't changed :-)
